Let's go to camp!

Thanks to Holy Week and Easter, my mind has been too occupied for reviews and new reads, but I do have one planned for an oldie (but a goodie) and something new that maybe I didn't like as much.
In the mean time, I stumbled across something pretty cool: Camp NaNoWriMo!
As you might have guessed, Camp NaNoWriMo is a spin on the traditional November NaNoWriMo. Touting itself as a "virtual writer's retreat, designed for maximum flexibility and creativity," Camp NaNoWriMo offers a forum for writers to gather together in two "camp" sessions (April and July), and hit a 50,000 word count goal for a WIP. And it comes with incentives! Apparently you can win stuff if you hit your word count goal, and there are discounts on certain programs and services for just participating.
As was stated previously, I've got too many irons in the fire, and this seems like a great way to force some focus. I've signed up and am now working on a project that both frightens and exhilarates me. Come check it out and sign up for camp yourself! While I'm currently waiting for a random cabin assignment, let me know if you're joining this month and we can be cabin mates (dibs on top bunk).
